~I'm BACK~

It has been a while since I have posted...but I am back. Kinda had a rough day today but God helped me through it...ANYWAY....THE SITE IS FINALLY UP AND RUNNING !! YAAAYYY!!! I am sooooo excited.. Now I need to pray for God to help me get business to the site.  I still have lines to add but what is there can be purchased. Vent Time---hehe...I hate it how we as humans just forget that things take time...you know how sometimes we just expect to do things and we then expect them to blow up overnight..lol..yes we all have been there at one time or another..well that's where I was today.. I think partly due to lack of sleep.. lol. Well I had to tell myself ..Rachael...things take time...Rome WAS NOT built in a day... ~Day of NEW Ideas~

Today was AWESOME !! I attended a Leaders In Business Class today at Church and now I really know all I have been feeling is from God. I am so encouraged ! I also decided today to add 2 services to the business for customers . I am going to have a friend from Tyler,Tx name Deana Kennon make matching BEAUTIFUL hair bows for the moms wanting them and my AWESOMELY TALENTED friend Chas Pulley from Fort Worth is going to offer her ..OMG .. how can I put this God inspired headbands for all ages and sizes. No 2 are alike . I will have her make some for my daughter to match some of the clothing in the store and I will post pics as soon as they are available. I believe with all my heart that God will use this business to bless and reach many people. I don't know how yet but I believe He will. I don't want to be "just another business owner" with "just another kids clothing shop" . I want the leading and the blessings of God on this business. I started praying for God to use me about 3-4 months ago when I was trying to find my place in church . At first like everyone else when you think used of God you think out in the open in front for all to see, but I believe God knew my heart and wanted to teach me the deeper meaning of being used first , and little by little he began to use me in secret ways and the feeling I felt from it was unexplainable . Well then my prayers began to change. They now became God use me in whatever way you want. I just want to be used, loved and favored by you, I just want you to be proud of me. That's when I really started to feel a change deep within my spirit and since then one thing has led to another. God has opened door after door.  I said all that to say this . I believe THIS business is a direct answer to my prayers . Thank you God for ALWAYS being there, for your grace and mercy , and for being soooooo VERY FAITHFUL !

Well church is in the morning and morning comes quickly.

~Business Update~

I have been crazy NONSTOP busy setting the business up . For everyone anxious to start buying.. my goals for  this upcoming week it to open up a business account and to pray for God to lead me to a credit card merchant with reasonable fees so I can start accepting payments from home and online that will go directly into my business account. So if any one out the know on please let me know ASAP .  Also I should have all the pricing sheets and be able to complete all the pricing for the other collections. I am looking into a couple more vendors that have AWESOME ITEMS. I have posted a couple of dress they offer below. Tell me what you think Also say a prayer that is all works out so I can offer their clothing line in the store. ~The Story Behind Courtney's Closet~

As of  Wednesday September 15, 2009 I made up my mind to start selling kids clothing. Mainly little girls clothing. About 2 years ago I thought about selling ladies clothing and even got a business license to do so, but after further research and talking with friends who had done so I realized it just was not for me and I decide to sell handbags . Well the handbags have done really well but it just wasn't and isn't steady enough for me. I now have a friend who has taken over that for me. At the time I started to see the bags weren't as steady as I would like I began to pray for God to give me a really good business idea that would do really well . After praying that a few times but never seeming to get and answer I kinda forgot about it and just stayed busy with homeschooling and church. Weelll then comes the Fall/Winter Season and its time to get my almost 4 year old a new wardrobe and all my normal shopping places really let me down . So I started searching for close online and found ONE really cute dress on ebay . Well after much much research I found other nice dresses online but they were more than I could afford cause I didn't just need 1 I needed like 10. Well I went to this one site and just FELL IN LOVE with a dress and was ready to buy only to call the next day to verify it was in stock before placing the order and found out it had JUST SOLD ...I WAS SICK. Well if you know me you know when my mind is set on something there is no stopping me =~). Well after finding it other places at prices more than I was willing to pay , I decided to find the manufacturer and see if I could get it direct..(told you ..Mind made UP..lol) . Well I found them and after further thought wondered how many moms have gone through the same thing as me and how I could help them if I could just open a store and offer a large variety of BEAUTIFUL & ELEGANT kids clothing but at a AFFORDABLE price,  how much it would not only help me but also them. Then began the task of deciding a name cause I couldn't use the old business name I had thought of, which was Rachael's Dresses, (*BORING*) . After talking with a friend she told me ...."You need to choose the name of your business based on what inspired you to start it" . Well I immedetely thought well I was trying to get clothes for my daughter (Courtney) to fill her (Closet) thus the name "Courtney's Closet" .
